Colorado Lawmakers are hearing two gun bills today on the house floor
(Denver, CO) -- Colorado legislators in the House will hear two gun bills today for a third reading. House Bill 1298 would expand firearm transfer background check requirements. House Bill 1299 would create an office on gun violence prevention. Both pieces of legislation are on their third reading in the House and will then move to the Senate. Legislators will also consider a bill that went to the Governor and was vetoed by him.
