Gray Wolves Could be Returning to Colorado

You might’ve heard talk, there interest in putting a question on the ballot for voters to decide whether or not to reintroduce the gray wolf to Colorado. Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Steve Keefer says it’s still very uncertain. He does say at this moment the Colorado Park's and Wildlife will not be introducing the wolf. Keefer says they were once here in Colorado and disappeared in the 1940s but the state has changed quite a bit since that time. He mentions the state's population growth and the fact there are many more livestock living in Colorado now too.

The gray wolf reintroduction ballot initiative
