(Eads, Co) -- Kiowa County Sheriff Casey Sheridan is stepping down and has handed in his resignation to the Kiowa County Commissioners. Sheridan stated in a social media post, he’s given it serious thought and talked it over with his family for months now. He says he’s putting his family and health first now as he steps away from his career in Law enforcement. Sheridan served the Kiowa county Sheriff’s office for 15 years as a deputy and then Sheriff. He says his resignation will be effective June fourth.
(Colorado) -- A Colorado woman says she has undergone successful treatment for blood clots that developed after she took the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. Morgan Wolfe received her vaccination on April 1st and began feeling ill a few days later. After going to the emergency room, she was diagnosed with clots in multiple areas of her body. Doctors used a blood thinner to help reduce clotting and make her feel better.
