Swink Stabbing Forces Lockout of School

The Otero County Sheriff's office reports Swink Schools were on lockout on Tuesdaymorning , October 22nd following the report of a stabbing near the school. A woman entered the Wallace Oil convenience store saying she'd been stabbed in a home in the 400 block of Powars. Since this was near the school, school officials decided to do a lockout. That is where the school is locked and no one enters. It was lifted once a suspect was in custody. The investigation is on-going so this is all of the information that's available to us right now.
